Our Live-in Caregivers for Elderly / nursing aides / nurses are personnel with formal training and experience. They come from Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India and Myanmar. They speak various languages such as English, Chinese, Hokkien, Cantonese, Malay.
Some have nursing qualifications, such as bachelor’s degree in nursing or a diploma of nursing. These nurses would have received at least 3 years of formal nursing education, in addition to practical training and experience in hospitals and other medical facilities. Others have caregiver certificates, having attended 2 to 6 months of formal caregiver training. They also have experience in taking care of elderly in the homes.
Some of them also undergo additional language and nursing refresher training at our partners' training schools before deployment.
Every member of our home Caregivers for Elderly team would have been carefully assessed and screened for their knowledge and skills in handling nursing and care-giving tasks, especially targeted at the elderly and in-firmed.
