Caregivers Training
To ensure that our caregivers are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills, we organize and provide caregiver training courses to caregivers. These courses are conducted by our training partner, Singapore Caregiver Training & Consultancy (a social enterprise), who is an Agency of Integrated Care (AIC) approved training provider since 2012. Some of their courses are Pre-Approved by AIC for the Caregiver Training Grant (CTG) and Foreign Domestic Worker Grant (FDWG). Singapore Caregiver Training & Consultancy has a team of more than 30 associate and volunteer trainers including:
Caregivers Training Grant (CTG) The Caregivers Training Grant is a $200 annual subsidy that lets caregivers attend approved courses to better care for their loved ones. The $200 subsidy is provided for each care recipient every financial year (from April to March the following year). Foreign Domestic Worker Grant (FDWG) Foreign Domestic Worker (FDW) Grant is a $120 monthly cash payment given to families who need to hire a Foreign Domestic Worker (FDW) to care for their loved ones who require permanent assistance with three or more Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and who meet the qualifying criteria. You can use the payment to offset the cost of hiring a FDW |
